No network resourses displayed under "View Computers and Devices"
My network has several computers in the workgroup. I can see previously mapped shares (on other XP computers) under "Computer" and I can see all Vista shares from other networked computers. I can also map to shares on other computers by using the Command window and DOS commands on the Vista computer. However, I can not see any shares, not even local shares, using "View Computers and Devices" on the Vista machine. I have installed LLTD on all XP machines and the "Full Network Map" is displayed correctly on the Vista computer. I have been fighting this problem or 2 months. Everything worked correctly for about 2 weeks after upgrading from XP to Vista Home Premium. Then this problem occured overnight. Dell Tech Support suggested that it may have been caused by automatic update. Please help!

Did you ever get an answer to this? I am having the same problem. Last night, when I set things up on my Vista machine, I could see the entire network on my vista machine (all the other machines are XP). But then the vista machine went to sleep and after waking up ( and many reboots) it still does not see the other machines in the private network. I only have my Windows firewall on, and network discovery is on. I canexpand the share nodes of the vista machine from the other XP machines, but only after I set up a corresponding account/password on the Vista machine to match that of the XP machine. Frustrating!
